I had the pleasure of assisting David Warhurst with running the annual 'Mammal and Fish Parasitology' field course at Malham in Yorkshire on more than one occasion. It was a great opportunity for me and the Masters students attanding the course to benefit from David's vast knowledge of Parasitology and the Natural World in general. His enthusiasm was infectious and he will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
