David spent his life working on tropical medicine, in particular Malaria, researching treatments and teaching and mentoring students. We have selected the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) as an appropriate recipient of any donations you wish to give in David's memory.

David was my MSC tutor at the LSHTM back in 2002-2003. He was instrumental in providing me with a stable, motivational environment to test out my precocious, probably annoying theories as a young scientist, and therefore he's one of the reasons I'm still working in malaria research nearly 20 years later myself at the LSHTM. I wish his family to know that to me he was really one of the kindest and most openhearted guys around and they should be (and I'm sure are) proud.
